RRB NTPC 2022 Notification
In August 2022, Railway Recruitment Board will release RRB NTPC Recruitment 2022 notification with no.RRB/CEN -/2022 for filling approximately 35,277 vacancies. Interested candidates can apply online from August 2022 at 16:00 hrs till September 2022 at 23:59 hrs on the concerned RRB website to appear in the examination.

RRB NTPC 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
Applicant should be an Indian citizen or a subject of Bhutan / Nepal. Tibetan refugees living in India since 01 Jan 1962 or the persons of Indian origin who have migrated from Sri Lanka, Burma, Pakistan, East African Countries of Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India are also eligible to apply for RRB NTPC 2022.
Persons other than Indian citizens will have to produce the appropriate eligibility certificate issued by the GOI at the time of appointment.
Age-limit & Relaxation
Under Graduate Level Posts
As of 01 July 2022, candidates applying for Under Graduate Posts should be at least 18 years old but not more than 30 years. They should be born between the dates given below.

RRB NTPC 2022 Application Fee and Mode Of Payment
All the candidates applying for any above-mentioned post(s) have to pay a fee of Rs 500/- as their examination fee. An amount of Rs. 400 will be refunded to them (after deducting bank charges) on appearing in CBT Stage 1 exam.
There will be Rs. 250/- examination fee for applicants belonging to any of the following categories- PwD, SC, ST, Ex-servicemen, women, minorities, financially backward classes having annual family income less than INR 50k, and transgender. However, Rs.250 will be refunded to them (after deducting bank charges) on appearing in CBT Stage 1 exam.
Candidates can pay their examination fee (if applicable) either online or offline. To pay the fee online, candidates have to use a debit/credit card or net banking facility. Candidates can also pay their examination fee offline through any computerized post office or SBI branch after downloading a pre-printed Pay-in-slip/challan.

RRB NTPC 2022 Application Form & Process
Interested candidates can apply for a post(s) of RRB NTPC via online application mode by visiting the website of concerned RRBs. Before attempting an online application, a candidate is recommended to go through the detailed centralized employment notice CEN -/2022.
RRB NTPC 2022 – How To Apply Online?
- Go to the website of the concerned regional RRB for which you want to apply
- Find and click on tab ‘Online Registration for Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) against CEN.01/2022’
- Before going through the online registration process, click on tab ‘CEN 01/2022 (NTPC)’ to read NTPC official notification; check the eligibility conditions of the post(s) you want to apply for
- Now, click on the ‘New registration’ tab
- Carefully, select any one RRB to apply because you cannot change it once selected
- Select qualification (10+2 or Graduate)
- Select community
- Selection option yes if you are a PwBD
- Click on tab ‘Check Availability’
- Available post-wise number of vacancies will be displayed
- Click on the tab ‘Apply’ available against the RRB to which you want to apply for
- A new page will be displayed having instructions
- Read all the information available on the instruction page before applying
- Then read and accept the declaration statement
- Click on tab ‘Submit’
- The registration page will be open
- Enter and verify your name
- Enter the date of birth
- Select Aadhaar card status
- Enter father’s, mother’s name
- Enter your class 10th / matriculation roll number and select the year of passing the 10th examinations
- Enter and confirm the mobile number
- Enter and confirm email ID
- Enter CAPTCHA code as shown in the image
- Read and accept the declaration statement then click on the tab ‘Click to Continue’
- A registration confirmation page will be opened
- Check and confirm your registration details
- If you want to make changes then check on the respective statement and make changes, read and accept the given declaration statement, then click on the tab ‘Submit’
- Now your registration process is complete and entered details have been accepted; meanwhile, you will get an OTP on your registered mobile number & email ID
- Click on the tab ‘Verify through OTP’
- Enter your registered email ID, OTP received on mail and mobile number
- Then enter captcha
- Click on tab ‘Submit’
- A new page will be open having your registration details
- On the same page, there is also a ‘Login’ tab; click on it
- Enter your registration number, date of birth and captcha then click on tab ‘Login’
- Enter your details in Part – I Application / Part I Application like your qualification on the basis of which you are applying, percentage of marks, community, gender, nationality, religion etc.
- Read and accept the declaration statement then click on tab ‘Save’
- On the next page of the application, select payment mode [online / SBI Bank Challan / Post Office Challan]
- After making the payment, proceed further to fill up the part II of the application
- Set priority/preferences for posts
- Enter details of your educational qualification
- Select the choice of exam language
- Upload scanned copies of photo, signature, and document
- Print your application form and keep it safe for future reference
RRB NTPC 2022 Exam Pattern/ Recruitment Process
The entire recruitment process of RRB NTPC 2022 consists of
- Stage 1 Computer Based test
- Stage 2 Computer Based test
- Typing skill test / computer-based aptitude test (as applicable)
- Document Verification / Medical Examination
Stage 1 Computer Based Test
It will be a common test for all notified posts of RRB NTPC. The date, time, and venue of this test shall be decided by the RRBs then informed to the eligible candidates in due course. Further details of Stage 1 CBT are given below
- Stage I CBT will be a common test for all the posts. CBT will be of 90 minutes duration having 100 MCQs, each of 1 Mark. For every wrong answer, 1/3rd mark shall be deducted as negative marking. The question paper will be divided into three sections- general awareness, Mathematics, general intelligence & reasoning.
- Stage 1 CBT is of screening nature and used for shortlisting of candidates for Stage 2 CBT
Stage 2 Computer Based Test
Candidates who qualify in Stage 1 CBT will be called to appear for Stage 2 CBT. However, the exam pattern and syllabus of 2nd Stage CBT are the same as the exam pattern & syllabus of Stage 1 CBT. But there will be a separate CBT for each post of 7th CPC level having graded difficulty level. Further details are given below

CBAT (Computer Based Aptitude Test)
Candidates who have opted for Station master & Traffic Assistant will have to appear for a CBAT. Shortlisting of such candidates for CBAT will be based on marks obtained by them in the CBT Stage 2 exam.
To qualify for CBAT, candidates are required to score at least a T-Score of 42 marks in every of the test batteries. Candidates must note down that they will not get relaxation in the minimum T-Score marks.
CBAT will be in English and Hindi and there will be no negative marking. Candidates qualifying in CBAT will get a position in SM / TA merit list. SM / TA merit list will be prepared after considering marks obtained in the Stage 2 CBT (70% weightage) and CBAT (30% weightage).

TST (Typing Skill Test)
Candidates who have opted for Junior Time Keeper, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Clerk cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist, and Senior Clerk cum Typist will have to appear for a Typing skill test [TST] of qualifying nature. Shortlisting of such candidates for TST will be based on marks obtained by them in the CBT Stage 2 exam.
To qualify for TST, candidates should have to pass a typing test with the following speed
- 30 Words in a minute in English OR
- 25 WPM in Hindi
on Personal computer only without using spell check facility or any other editing tools. Candidates who qualify in TST or TST exempted persons with benchmark disabilities [PwBD] will be considered for merit-based on their performance in stage 2 CBT.
Document Verification (DV)
Based on the performance in Stage 2 CBT or in both Stage 2 CBT & CBAT / TST (as applicable), candidates will be called for document verification. At the time of document verification, candidates have to produce the following original documents.
- 10th/12th mark sheet or certificates for proof of date of birth,
- Graduation’s semester wise mark sheet or degree/certificate,
- Caste certificate (if applicable),
- Original discharge document for Ex-servicemen,
- Income certificate for financially backward classes,
- PwD certificate,
- Minority community declaration certificate,
- Self certification by transgender applicants and
- NOC for serving employees.

RRB NTPC 2022 Admit Card
Eligible candidates can download their RRB NTPC e-call letters from the website of the concerned RRB. The RRB will issue a separate e-call letter for each test. E- Call letters will be available to download about 2 weeks before the commencement of the examination. RRB will not send admit cards by post to any candidate.
How to download RRB NTPC 2022 Admit Card?
- Open the official website of that RRB for which you have applied
- Search and click on RRB NTPC admit card link
- Enter and submit the credentials such as name, date of birth, etc.
- Your admit card will appear on the screen
- Download and print it
All the candidates going to appear in the RRB examination have to carry an original photo ID along with their valid admit card to the examination center. If any candidate failed to do so, s/he will be not allowed to appear for the test.

RRB NTPC Result 2022
The Railway Recruitment Board(s) will declare the NTPC result for each test. All common CBT/aptitude test/typing skill tests result will be published on the concerned RRB website. Candidates have to go to the concerned RRB website to check their results. The entire process to be used for checking RRB NTPC 2022 result is given below
- Open the official website of the respective RRB
- Search for RRB NTPC CEN 01/2022 CBT Result link then click it
- Enter and submit the details as asked like Name, date of birth, etc.
- Your NTPC result will appear
- Check your result then print it on the A4 size paper
RRB NTPC Cut Off 2022
RRB NTPC Cut-off marks are the minimum marks required to qualify for the next stage of examination or to get selected in the merit list. If a candidate wants to appear in the next level examination or to get selected in the final list then s/he should have to score prescribed cut-off marks.
