SSC CPO is an open competitive computer-based test for recruitment of Assistant Sub Inspectors in CISF, Sub-inspectors in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), and Delhi Police. To apply for SSC CPO 2021, interested candidates will have to complete online registration of application on the Commission’s website.

02 June 2021: SSC CPO 2019 Paper-II exam will be held on 26.07.2021 as per the revised schedule of the SSC CPO SI in Delhi Police, CAPFs, and ASI in CISF.
- SSC CPO online registration of applications can be done between 17 June 2021 and 16 July 2021 whereas the last date for making payment online is 18 July 2021 till 23:30 hrs.
- The last date for payment of fee through Challan is 22 July 2021 while challan can be generated up to 20 July 2021 till 22:30 hrs.
- The Staff Selection Commission will conduct SSC CPO 2021 recruitment examination in 4 stages, Paper I CBT, PST/PET, CBT Paper 2, and DME.
- SSC CPO Paper I CBT will be conducted from 29 Sep 2021 to 5 Oct 2021 whereas Paper-II will be held 1st Jan 2022.

SSC CPO 2021 Eligibility Criteria
All the interested candidates are requested to check the eligibility criteria prescribed for SSC CPO SI, ASI 2021 before submitting the online application.
Nationality /Citizenship
- An applicant should be either an Indian citizen or a subject of Bhutan or Nepal
- Candidates other than Indian citizens are required to submit a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.
Age Limit
An applicant must be in between 20 and 25 years as on 01 Jan 2021. Relaxation in the maximum age limit will be applicable for candidates belonging to special/ reserved categories. To know more, please have a look at below table

Educational Qualifications
As on 01 Jan 2021, applicants should have a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Institution. Candidates having educational qualifications equivalent to Bachelor’s degree are also eligible to apply for SSC CPO 2021.
Driving License for LMV
Male candidates applying for the post of SI in Delhi Police must possess a valid DL for LMV (Car & Motorcycle) as on the date of Physical Endurance and Measurement Tests. However, candidates not having DL for LMV can apply for all other posts in CAPFs.
SSC CPO 2021 Application Form & Process
SSC CPO SI, ASI 2021 application forms will be available on Commission’s website from 17 June 2021 onwards. The last date for receipt of applications is 16 July 2021 whereas the online fee can be paid up to 18 July 2021 @ 23:30 Hrs. Candidates can also pay the fee offline through challan up to 22 July 2021 (during working hours of Bank) and challan can be generated up to 20 July 2021. How To Apply Online For SSC CPO SI, ASI 2021?
Candidates applying for SSC SI & ASI exam 2021 should have to go through a one-time registration process on the Commission’s website. Registration of applications is a must otherwise they will not be able to fill in and submit the SSC CPO application.

Part 1: Registration
- Open the Commission’s website or click here https://ssc.nic.in/
- Under the login section, click ‘New User? Register Now’ link
- You see a registration form in which you will have to enter and submit ‘Basic Details’, ‘Additional and contact details’, and ‘Signature & Photo details’
- Start with filling in ‘Basic Details’
- If you have ‘Aadhaar No.’ then enter, otherwise enter the photo ID number of your ‘Any other valid Photo ID’
- Type and verify your name
- If you have ever changed your name then select option ‘Yes’ and enter your ‘New / Changed name’ otherwise select option ‘No’
- Type and verify your father’s & mother’s names
- Select and verify your date of birth
- Provide details of your class 10th examination such as education board name, roll number, and year of passing
- Select and verify gender
- Select the highest level of Educational qualification
- Enter and verify your mobile number
- Type and verify your email ID
- Choose your State / UT of permanent address
- Recheck all the filled details then click on tab ‘Save’
- Confirm your mobile number and email ID
- Your registration number will be displayed on the screen
- Same time, you will also receive your registration ID and password on your email ID and mobile number
- Use your registration details to login
- On login for the first time, change the password when prompted
- Login again using a new/changed password
- Now, fill in and submit ‘Additional and contact details’ like identification marks, etc.
- Proceed further by clicking on ‘Save’ & ‘Next’ tabs
- Upload digital files of your passport size photo & signature
- Read the statement of declaration then accept it
- Recheck all the information
- Proceed further by clicking on the ‘Final Submit’ tab; instantly, you will receive 2 different OTPs on your email ID and mobile number
- Enter and submit any 1 OTP to confirm your online registration
- Now, your online registration process is completed
Part 2: Fill In Application and Payment Of Fee
- Log in using your registration ID and password
- You will see a few details of ongoing examinations under ‘Latest Notifications’
- Find and click on the ‘Apply’ link available under ‘SI in Delhi Police, CAPFs and ASI in CISF Examination 2021’
- Detailed filled by in registration will be displayed
- Provide your preference for examination centers
- Select other options as per your eligibility
- Read and accept the given statement of declaration
- Recheck and verify all the details entered by you
- Proceed further to make payment of fee, only if you are not exempted from payment of a fee
- Fee can be paid in both online & offline modes
- Select any one mode and complete the formalities
- After going through the payment page, print your application form

SSC CPO 2021 Application Fee & Mode Of Payment
Candidates belonging to the General and OBC category need to pay a fee of Rs. 100/- as their application fee. On the other hand, females and applicants belonging to SC/ST/Ex-servicemen categories are exempted from paying the application fee.

Candidates can pay the application fee either online or offline mode. To pay the fee online, a candidate has to use a debit/credit card or net banking, or BHIM UPI facility. To pay fees offline, an applicant needs to generate an e-challan at the time of attempting an online application and submit it with a requisite application fee at any nearest SBI branch.

- SSC CPO SI, ASI 2021 Paper I examination will be a computer-based test having 200 objective-type questions.
- Each MCQ will be of 1 mark.

3. Paper-II CBT
Applicants qualified in PET/PST as well as found medically fit will be allowed to appear in Paper-II which is an online test of English language & Comprehension having 200 MCQs and each MCQ will be of 1 mark.
MCQs in paper II will be considered to evaluate the applicant’s knowledge as well as an understanding of the English Language & it will be based on vocabulary, phrases & idiomatic use of words, spellings, error recognition, filling in the blanks (using verbs, preposition, articles, etc), grammar, sentence completion, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms, comprehension, etc.
4. Medical Examination
Candidates qualified in Paper-II will have to undergo a detailed medical examination. They will be medically examined by a Medical Officer to be appointed by the respective authorities. Those who will be declared as unfit candidates can submit an appeal before Review Medical Board. Dates for making an appeal will be disclosed in due course.
5. Document Verification
Candidates who are declared as medically fit by the Medical officer will be needed to go for detailed Document Verification.

Selection Process
- Paper I: It has 200 MCQs and each contains 1 mark and the time duration will be 2 hours. There will be 0.25 negative marks for each wrong attempt in this paper. The marks scored will be taken into consideration for the final cutoff.
- PET (Physical Efficiency/Endurance Test): It is qualifying in nature.
- Paper-II: The marks scored in this paper along with the Paper I score will be considered for the final merit list. It has 200 MCQs and each question carries 1 mark and the time duration will be 2 hours. There will be a negative marking system in this paper as well. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong attempt.
- Marks obtained in Paper I and Paper II will be considered for shortlisting of candidates for medical examination
SSC CPO 2021 Admit Card
The Staff Selection Commission will issue a separate SSC CPO Admit Card for each stage of examination including Paper I, Physical Efficiency/Endurance Test, Paper-II, Medical Examination. SSC will issue admit cards for the Paper I examination in the third week of Sep 2021 and a computer-based examination will be held from 29th Sep – 5th Oct 2021.
However, SSC will not send any call letter by post. Candidates have to download and print their admit cards online from the SSC’s official website.

It is expected that SSC CPO SI, ASI 2021 paper I result will be declared by the end of Dec 2021. Candidates can check stage-wise results online on the SSC’s website. SSC CPO SI, ASI results will be available only on SSC’s official website and check your result by following the below instructions:

SSC CPO 2021 Cut Off Marks
Cut off marks will be decided by the SSC based on merit/candidate’s performance in each stage. To be in the final selection process candidates need to score minimum qualifying or cut-off marks outlined by SSC.
