AP Grama Sachivalayam Notification 2021 [Exam Date, Apply Online, Eligibility] : AP Grama Sachivalayam Notification will be released on 10th January 2021 on the official website @ gramasachivalayam.ap.gov.in for recruiting 14,061 vacancies in Grama Sachivalayams. Online application forms will be invited from 11th January 2021 and the last date to apply online/ registration will be 31st January 2021 till 11:59 pm.
To recruit eligible candidates, post wise offline written exam will be conducted by the concerned department. The selection of AP Grama Sachivalayam posts will be held through the written test based on merit. AP DSC (District Selection Committees) is the selecting authority and District Collector is the appointing authority.
For every 2000 – 4000 population, one Grama Sachivalayam has been formed in rural areas, and for every 4000 – 6000 urban population, one Ward Sachivalayam has been set up. Each Grama Sachivalayam will have 14 posts. The posts to be filled through AP Grama Sachivalayam are,

AP Grama/ Ward Sachivalayam Notification
AP Village Secretariat or Grama/ Ward Sachivalayam recruitment notifications have been released on 10th Jan 2021 on the official website of AP @http://gramasachivalayam.ap.gov.in/. Interested candidates must check eligibility criteria such as age limit and educational qualification to apply for the vacant posts.

AP Grama Sachivalayam Eligibility
All the interested candidates must satisfy the minimum eligibility criteria set by the AP Government for applying for the posts of AP Grama Sachivalayam. The candidate must be in sound health and have such antecedents/ character to qualify for the post he/ she is applying for.
Nationality
Citizens of India and Candidates belonging to Andhra Pradesh only should apply for the posts of Grama Sachivalayam.
Age Limit
The minimum age limit will be 18 years and the upper age limit is 42 years for applying for Grama Sachivalayam vacancies. General candidates in the age group of 18-42 only should apply. The age limit will be calculated as on 01 July 2021.

AP Grama/ Ward Sachivalayam Job Responsibilities
- Each Grama and Ward Sachivalayam will have 11 posts of different nature varying from Panchayat Secretary, assistants to helper in various departments. Panchayat secretary will act as convenor of the village secretariat.
- A Village Secretariat in AP is liable to offer a solution within 72 hours from the time of submission of application related to the grievance.
- Post wise responsibilities are tabulated above in the notification section.
- Applicants can avail of various services from the village secretariat such as ration card, fee reimbursement, Arogya Shree, Rythu Bharosa scheme benefits, etc.
- A Grama Secretariat in AP will work closely with Grama Volunteers in order to provide better solutions to the complainant.
- To make service delivery faster and transparent, the AP government has introduced the AP Secretariat system.
Need for Village Secretariat
- To restructure the delivery system to function as an effective mechanism for the delivery of services
- To build a strong and workable channel for the implementation of NAVARATNALU

- Grama Panchayat will be termed as Village Secretariat
- Each Village Secretariat will have Panchayat Secretary who acts as convenor/ secretary to the Village Secretariat
- The village secretariat will aid and assist the Grama Panchayat in its functions while preserving the autonomy of Grama Panchayat
- The village secretariat will have a number of functionaries and act as integrate workforce to deliver services
AP Grama Sachivalayam Exam Pattern
Andhra Pradesh Government will select eligible candidates for various posts at AP Grama and Ward Sachivalayams based on merit in the written test to be conducted by concerned departments either through an existing system through constituting AP District Selection Committees (DSC).
Only those candidates, who successfully complete the application process, of the village secretariat will be considered for the written test, and those who qualify the written test will be called for Document verification.
AP Grama and Ward Sachivalayam exam pattern will have a single paper with multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from General Studies and Mental ability, Rural Development, problems in rural areas, Government Schemes, etc.
Candidates will be tested for their social consciousness, awareness of Government schemes, social issues, etc. Candidates have to score minimum qualifying marks to become eligible for the further selection process in each stage.

AP Grama Sachivalayam Syllabus
AP Grama and Ward Sachivalayam written exam will have sections from General Studies and Mental ability, Rural Development, problems in rural areas, Government Schemes. Candidates will be tested their social consciousness, awareness of Government schemes, social issues, etc during the interview by District Selection Committee.

AP Grama Sachivalayam Selection Process
- Selection for various posts under AP Grama Sachivalayam will be made on the basis of merit in the written exam.
- Aspiring candidates have to submit an online application, a shortlist of candidates will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by them in the written exam.
- Candidates will have to complete the document verification process, where they have to bring their original documents and get them verified.
- Those candidates who would be unable to produce original documents at the time of document verification will not be considered for final selection.

AP Grama Secretariat hall ticket/ call letter will be released on the official website at least one week before the date of written test or counseling/ document verification. Candidates will need their registration id and password to download their admit card. Candidates should also note that the only way to get AP Grama Sachivalayam admit card is to download it from the website, no copy of admit card will be provided to candidates by any other means.
Admit cards will be the most important document for candidates as without it they will not be allowed to appear for the AP Village Secretariat examination. Admit card will contain information like, name of the candidate, date and time of the exam, address of the examination center, photo and signature of the candidate, etc.

AP Grama Sachivalayam Cut Off
- Qualifying marks for OCs, BCs, SC/ STs & PH will be 40%, 35%, 30% respectively.
- Cut off marks for AP Grama Sachivalayam will be released on the official website along with AP Grama Sachivalayam results. All those candidates who score more or equal marks to cut off will be considered qualified.
- A merit list of candidates will also be uploaded on the official website in this list, names of all candidates who get equal or more marks than cut off will be mentioned.

AP Village Secretariat posts will have a starting salary or consolidated stipend of Rs. 15,000. Candidates who complete the recruitment process successfully and get selected for any post of AP Grama Sachivalayam will receive a salary of Rs. 15,000/- per month.
Candidates will be on probation for a period of 2 years from the date of joining, on successful completion of the probation period, the concerned department will take necessary action to confirm the probation. AP Government will directly credit the salary in the employee’s bank account.
Training
AP Village Secretariat functionaries induction training will be conducted for 1 week at District/ Zonal level about basic knowledge on functions to be discharged. General training will be given at PR Training Centres Bapatla /Samarlakota / Kalahasthi or at appropriate other centers on the following,
- Official Correspondence
- The issue to be dealt with by Secretariats and redressal of Grievances as per department protocol
- Computer skills
- Communication skills, Social & Behavioural change
- To bring synergy by working with various officials and effective delivery of services and administration at the village secretariat level.
Job Chart and Monitoring
- A clear and comprehensive job chart with business rules will be put in place
- Mandal and District officials will review the performance of functionaries periodically ad submit the performance appraisal reports
- Key performance indicators (KPIs) will be developed by respective departments and an online monitoring system will be developed by RTGS for performance tracking of functionaries
- Horizontal and Vertical control structure
- Systems will be developed for proper checks & balances and supervision and to ensure transparency & efficiency for corruption-free delivery of services.
